In response to the worldwide pandemic, Viramed Biotech Ag is proud to announce a multiplex type immunoassay for the detection of antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 Virus.
While still unavailable in the United States while waiting for FDA Emergency Use Authorization, the Viramed SARS-CoV-2 ViraChip® assays are being used in Europe under the CE mark.
The Viramed SARS-CoV-2 ViraChip® IgG and IgA test kits provide information currently unavailable to the clinician or research scientist. With quantifican of three different antibodies present in a patient sample, the Viramed SARS-CoV-2 ViraChip® gives the user a better picture of the state of the disease in the patient.
Possible uses include tracking antibody response in the general population as well as measuring response to future vaccination.
